Chastity piercings at XS Piercing are performed exclusively for consenting adults and require the full, voluntary consent of the wearer. We only perform these piercings when we have confirmed that the decision was made freely and independently. The consultation always takes place with the wearer alone.
What are chastity piercings?
Chastity piercings are specialised piercing combinations that are planned and placed to serve as attachment points for chastity devices (chastity cages). They are not separate piercing types, but rather the targeted arrangement of existing piercing types — such as Prince Albert, frenum or hafada — in a configuration that enables the secure attachment of a device.
The crucial difference from a regular intimate piercing lies in the jewellery selection and placement: The jewellery must be robust enough to bear the weight and mechanical stress of a chastity device, and the placement must be compatible with the respective device.
Chastity piercings are to be understood in the context of consensual practices between adults. They offer a body-attached fastening option that, unlike purely mechanical devices, cannot simply be slipped off. This requires that all involved piercings are fully healed and stable.
Common configurations
There are various piercing combinations that can be used for chastity purposes. The optimal configuration depends on the device type, individual anatomy and personal preferences.
Prince Albert + Frenum
The most common configuration for chastity devices. The Prince Albert ring serves as the primary attachment point at the glans, while one or more frenum piercings on the shaft provide additional fixation points.
This combination allows secure attachment of common chastity cages, where the PA ring is threaded through an opening in the cage and secured. The frenum piercings can serve as additional anchor points for securing bands or chains.
Hafada piercings for cage attachment
Multiple hafada piercings on the scrotum can serve as attachment points for the lower part of a chastity cage. The rings are placed so that the device can be stably anchored to the scrotum without slipping off.
This configuration is often combined with a PA to achieve complete fixation: The PA secures the cage to the glans, the hafada piercings to the scrotum.
Prince Albert alone
Many chastity devices are designed so that a single PA ring suffices as an attachment point. The ring is threaded through a designated opening in the cage and secured with a lock or screw.
This variant is the simplest and requires only a single piercing. For chastity purposes, however, we recommend a larger gauge (at least 3mm) to reliably handle the mechanical stress.
Individual configuration
Every chastity configuration is as individual as the wearer. Depending on the chosen device, anatomy and personal wishes, custom-tailored combinations of various piercing types can be put together.
In a detailed consultation, we analyse the requirements together and create an individual plan with piercing selection, jewellery specifications and a realistic timeframe for step-by-step implementation.
Jewellery and requirements
Jewellery used for chastity purposes must meet special requirements:
- ✓ Sufficient gauge: The jewellery must reliably bear the mechanical stress of the device. For PA rings, we recommend at least 3mm (8ga), ideally 4mm (6ga) or more. Too thin jewellery can damage the piercing channel under load.
- ✓ Secure closure: Rings with ball closure (BCR) or segment rings that do not open unintentionally. Depending on the device, special lock rings or rings with screw closures may also be used.
- ✓ Biocompatible material: Implant-grade titanium (ASTM F136) or surgical steel (ASTM F138). The jewellery is exposed to permanent skin contact and moisture and must be corrosion-resistant.
- ✓ Compatibility: The jewellery must fit the chosen chastity device — inner diameter of the ring, thickness, closure type. Please bring your device (or detailed specifications) to the consultation.
Healing with multiple piercings
Chastity configurations typically require multiple piercings that cannot all be done simultaneously. A realistic schedule looks as follows:
- First piercing (e.g., Prince Albert): Healing time 4-8 weeks. Do not get a second piercing during this time.
- Second piercing (e.g., frenum): Only after complete healing of the first piercing. Another healing period of 4-8 weeks.
- Additional piercings: Each additional piercing requires complete healing of the previous ones. Depending on the configuration, the entire process can extend over 6 to 12 months.
- Device attachment: Only when all piercings are fully healed and the jewellery has been changed to the final pieces can the chastity device be attached.
Patience is particularly important with chastity piercings. Premature loading of the piercings with a device can result in migration, inflammation or the jewellery being torn out. We guide you through the entire process and assess healing progress at regular check-up appointments.
Patience pays off
Do not attach a chastity device to piercings that are not yet fully healed. The mechanical stress can lead to serious complications, including the jewellery being torn out. Follow the agreed schedule and attend the recommended check-up appointments.
Personal consultation
Due to the complexity and individual nature of chastity configurations, we strongly recommend a detailed consultation before the first procedure. In the consultation, we discuss:
- Your preferences: Which device do you want to use? What functionality are you aiming for?
- Anatomical assessment: Which piercing combination is best suited to your anatomy?
- Jewellery specifications: What gauge, size and closure type is needed?
- Scheduling: Realistic timeframe for the step-by-step implementation of all piercings and the final device attachment.
- Costs: Transparent breakdown of costs for each individual piercing and the required jewellery.
The consultation is no-obligation, free of charge and absolutely confidential. You are welcome to bring your chastity device or specifications so that we can check compatibility directly.

Frequently asked questions
Do chastity piercings need to be worn permanently?
No, chastity piercings are standalone piercings that can also be worn as normal body jewellery without a chastity device. The special aspect lies in the jewellery selection and placement being designed so that a chastity device can be attached. The device itself can be removed and reattached at any time, provided the piercings are fully healed.
How long must I wait before attaching a chastity device?
All involved piercings must be fully healed before a chastity device may be attached. Depending on the configuration, this means a waiting period of at least 3 to 6 months — for a PA-based setup at least 8 weeks for the PA, plus healing time for any additional piercings. Premature loading of the piercings can lead to complications and migration.
Can I use my existing piercing for chastity purposes?
In many cases, yes. If you already have a Prince Albert or frenum piercings, these can often be used for chastity devices — provided the placement and gauge are compatible. We are happy to check this in a personal consultation and recommend adjustments if needed, such as changing to a larger gauge or a different jewellery type.
